Im having some issues at my work place with printing. We have a printer (Lanier LD 330) which is installed as a network printer on our server "Main". The two computers that are the issue both have the printer installed fine and can print to it with no problems. Both of the computers have permission to control the settings of the printer as well. These settings are not per computer, but per that printer so if one computer changes the settings of the printer, the other user will see those changes also. This is the same for the Print Jobs that each of them see. (ex, if user A starts 3 print jobs, user B can open up the print jobs by just double clicking on the printer, see them and pause/resume the jobs for the entire printer and not just A or B's jobs individually. This is sort of where the problem lies. The two users ultimately (and this was working previously on another printer set up by someone else) want to be able to pause their *own* print jobs separately from each other and not interfere with the others.
Has anyone else run into this problem? I dont have to much experience with networked printing and such. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
