Computers not connecting , help!
I have 4 computers: 3 with Windows 98SE and 1 with windows XP. The 3 98 machines were working fine on my little netgear en108 hub (connected to cable modem), file sharing and all. All the computers could see each other and everything was happy. Add the XP machine, ran the network wizard, got the 3.5 floppy for the XP setup disk and ran it on the other three computers. Now none of the computers will see each other! I can't connect to the other computers and shared drives on them.
I have done the following:
1: confirmed file sharing on drives and network.
2: disabled firewall in XP
3: ensured all were using the same workgroup
4: Each have their own name
Even worse when I run the 3.5 network setup disk XP made on one computer it says it doesn't have required network hardware which is total BS because I am online right now! Anyone, everyone, please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you need any more info please just ask!
