I've never watched Lost, but if you are a fan, a couple of Lost-related tracks (apparently from fictional bands appearing in the show) just got released on RBN yesterday:

EDIT: Speaking of fictional bands, I wouldn't mind seeing a few Stillwater tracks in Rock Band. Almost Famous is so awesome.

Ever since it's been released I've been happier with RB Network's offering of DLC than the main DLC. I guess when so many tracks get released so fast there's bound to be more stuff somebody likes.

Well, nothing too major this week, though Green Day: Rock Band will also be coming out the same day as these tracks. Note that "Hole in the Earth" appeared once before in a music game as Guitar Hero 3 DLC.

Next week we'll see the Deftones hit the Music Store with a gnarly 3 pack! This marks the first appearance of the Deftones in the RB library, and they're accompanied by a single from another new-to-RB group, Crown of Thorns. Boys Like Girls (who you may remember from Lego Rock Band) round out the week with a single of their own.

Remember, these songs come out the same day that Green Day: Rock Band launches, so if you pick that up you'll have another 40+ songs to play! Enjoy!

Well, nothing too major this week, though Green Day: Rock Band will also be coming out the same day as these tracks. Note that "Hole in the Earth" appeared once before in a music game as Guitar Hero 3 DLC.

I'd prefer to see some of Deftone's earlier stuff... songs off White Pony or Around the Fur more than their self-titled (Minerva) or Saturday Night Wrist (Hole in the Earth, Cherry Waves). Even some of the songs off their new album would be better . Saturday Night Wrist is their worst selling album after all.

Although, Minerva is probably my favorite song off their self-titled album and Hole in the Earth is alright, so I'll probably get the pack anyway .

Big news today - Rolling Stone is reporting that an Ozzy Osbourne 6-pack is coming out for DLC on June 15th. Three songs are from his new album coming out June 22nd, and the other three are from older albums.

Didn't creed break up a while ago? I'm not too sure because I don't listen to them but I haven't heard about them in a long time. I agree with you guys on RBN too, with the exception of a couple Pantera songs I haven't dled anything from the official DLC in a while.

As gorcorps pointed out, I was referring to the fact that the entire Dookie album is available in Green Day: Rock Band (and it is exportable to RB2).

I'm not sure how it works these days, but if it works like the RB1 export you could just rent/borrow the game and pay the smaller licensing fee to export the songs.

Not if someone has already exported - the game contains a one-time-use code. The only export that works like you describe is RB1, since it had no code.

Here's something interesting coming out of the E3 Booth Walkthrough video (which is otherwise rather lackluster). Right around the 8-minute mark, you can see the huge song board in the background, and read a section of "The Rolling Stones" songs. It's blurry, but you can tell that there are 3 songs under that section. However, the only existing Rolling Stones song in Rock Band is Gimme Shelter, so this implies that 2 more Rolling Stones songs will be released as DLC shortly. We'll probably get the titles today, once someone at E3 gets a better picture of that board.

MTV is reporting that a Miley Cyrus 5-pack will be released for Rock Band on June 22nd. It seems slightly confused though, because it lists the song "See You Again" as appearing twice in the 5-pack. I assume that's a typo.

The day after the concert will also mark Cyrus' "Rock Band" debut, with five songs made available for download in the "Rock Band" music store. The Miley Cyrus Pack 01 will feature five of Miley's fan favorites, including "Can't Be Tamed" from her new album, as well as "7 Things," "Fly on the Wall" and "See You Again" from 2008's Breakout, and "See You Again" from her 2007 debut, Meet Miley Cyrus.

Unless she's so unoriginal she has 2 different songs with the exact same title. I can imagine that as well.
