New build : is it appropiate?

Greetings, I just finally selected all the components for a new gaming pc and I would like to hear opinons, I dont know for sure if the power supply will be ok for the graphics card and if the motherboard will be sufficient for the other components

The Power Supply looks like it may be a little weak but I am not a good on what you need for Power supplys, I went overboard on mine thinking i will water cool later on.

The power needed for the R9-290x is more than what we use to need last year but I think if you want to overclock it you will need more for sure.

If you havn't got the R9-290X yet take a look at the GTX 780 or the GTX 780ti, I am not a fanboy for either company but it seems that the R9-290 and the R9-290X are overpriced unless you find one that just came out and can buy it quick enough.

One thing you can do is go to amd web site and see what watage is needed for the card or what size of power supply

I would use cheaper lower frequency memory if I was you. It doesnt make any noticeable change and you dont have an unlocked CPU. Make sure the memory is 1.35 or 1.5V.

Else it looks fine as such.

The oveclocking I was talking was about the GPU not the CPU soory.

Please update your post with the answers to the questions posed here, being careful to provide a link to your web shop or a least a listing of prices. Our advice about any give part could be completely invalid if you're getting a spectacular deal, or a part that looks good on paper might be a bad pick if its overpriced.

I used to have that case you mentioned, the Lexa S. It's not a particularly good one; build quality is poor and cable management is entirely non-existent. I'd invest in a better, more expensive case. I swapped my Lexa for the FD Arc Midi R2 and couldn't be happier, that is a great case for a decent price.

Its a gold plus PSU at 650w, more than sufficient.
