is the build i have fine?

Your system seems pretty good right now? Why not just upgrade the video card and save the money?

If you want, you don't need to, you can get a Quad. Your E6850 should have no problem at all with any game but only if you want to. Maybe look into a Q9650 as that would be the only one I would get since you already have a 3.0GHz Dual.

You also may want to upgrade your PSU. This looks like the best price/performance right now.
