New Build

i'm sorry for even posting this, I don't visit the gen. hardware forum ever, but I'm pretty sure you get this question like 5 times a day. But I just need some advice on a build. I'm looking to build a "bang for the buck" type system, maybe overclock, just a little. And this is what I have so far, and just wanted to know if I should change anything(or even if I'm missing something, I tend to do stupid stuff like that):

Lite-On Beige 52X32X52 CD-RW Drive, Model LTR-52327S BEIGE $33.00

^I think this went down 2 bucks in the past few hours at Newegg.

Chenbro Xpider Case(not sure on the color yet, I also have some Q's about this, further down) ~$50 - $60
I'm not sure where I'm gonna buy this one from, since prices can swing about 15 bucks from place to place.

Video Card: I already have a video card(ATI 9600SE), so I don't want to spend $$$ on it at the moment.

edit: I forgot to ask about the power supply. I know nothing about what's good and what's not. And once again I need "bang for the buck" PSU, do you guys have any suggestoins?

edit: I was also wondering if any of you have any experience with KVM's, should I just get the cheapest one from NewEgg, or do anyone of the do something a whole lot better than others?

Now about the Xpider, this seems to be a pretty popular case, so I was thinking that someone here might know about the cd-rom slots. I'm gonna be putting a beige cd-rom into the case, along with a Blue DVD that I already have. And I was wondering if that's gonna look like crap, since the whole rest of the case is a bright color, like green or orange or blue. Or do those front covers go over the cd-rom somehow?

for the case i suggest an aspire x-dreamer for about 50 bucks. it looks much nicer IMO. for a PSU, i suggest a 350 watt antec, fortron, or enermax. aspire power supplies are also very good, but they are in the $60 range. the rest of your setup looks pretty good, although i personally am not fond of geil ram.

really? I actually think the xpider looks better, but that's more of a personal prefernce. Is there anything functionally that is better about the x-dreamer? I really like the things on the Xpider that hold the PCI slots in without screws.

I got the 9600SE, because I wanted TV-OUT that very day, and it seemed like the best deal, expecially since I get Half life 1 with it, which I was itching to get back into, and when it comes out I get Half life 2. So I had gone to circuit city and it was 130, and didn't want to spend a lot more than that.

Is there anything wrong with that GEIL RAM? I know it got good reviews on Newegg.
