I currently have a Lian-Li P60 case (all aluminum). I have had it for 5 years and it has server me well but feel like replacing it. I am looking for a case of similar or better quality, those of you who have Lian Li cases know what I am talking about. All aluminum is a must, solid construction, nice features like removable motherboard tray, drive cage, and general user friendlyness. I will be overclocking so great airflow is a must (has to be relatively silent). Any recommendations ?

The Gigabyte 3D Aurora desn't have a removable MB tray, but it does have Tons-O-Room to work in and plenty of 120mm cooling goodness.
At $140 shipped (Free Shipping Special), it's a very nice case.

If you feel like moving up in price range, check out the Silverstone SST-TJ07. A Lian-Li person such as yourself can appreciate it's build quality and features.
If you want to stay in the old tried and true Lian-Li family, the PC-V1200Aplus II is dripping with sweetness.

I have the V1200 and it is definitely cool, not so sure about quiet though. I could care less about noise so it is not an issue for me and the noise could just be coming from my vid card (screams like a banshee at startup).

I am sure if you are overclocking though you will be replacing all the fans and cooling and could reduce the noise that way. I'm a newbie, but I found it very easy to work in this case.

He's a Lian-Li owner right now and he said...

That sort of excludes much of the $70-Case world. If he had said he was looking for something else, my offerings would have been different.

There seem to be a lot of fans (no pun intended) of that case. Do a search for P180 in cases and cooling and there are about a million threads on it.

This guy did a beauty job with his P180: Thread

Wow, i think I am sold on the P180 Case. The Silverstone case is a little pricey and I don't like the look of that Lian Li case

Well after checking out the specs on the P180 it looks like I may still go for the aurora, strictly because of the weight issue. I'm looking for an all aluminum case, and the P180 is 36LBS!!!!!
It is a really nice case, but that weight is a nono

I have a P180 in the UK so temps change all the time I work in the US most of the time. I 6 HDD's in side and one is a raptor. It a fast machine and so generates a lot of heat. The machine has now been on for over 6 months with no problem at all. I use it all the time via RDP for downloads and VMWARE
