New seasons of shows

Was checking up on when the new seasons of shows I like start and found out that My Name is Earl was canceled? I saw this on Wikipedia, anyone know how true this is? I only saw it mentioned on Wikipedia.


Some of the shows I'm looking forward to and their start dates (from wikipedia). If you've heard any different, post here and let me know.

Dollhouse - Sept. 25

Parks and Recreation -- I just can't get into it. The first few shows were almost identical to The Office, but not as good. It made watching the show awkward.

Yea TBS wanted it but they have to fire half the cast to do it for what they could pay.

Especially since Terminator Chronicles got cancelled which was light years better


Though I think that might have been Warner Bros since they knew that the movie was going to bomb so bad

TSCC wasn't that good. And yes, I watched all the episodes. The series yo-yoed too much, and there were too many episodes were the plot seemed to get nowhere. The only reason the show was looking up by the end of the last season was because they essentially pressed the reset button with John. I think the show had a lot of potential, but it wasn't great.

I feel the same way about Dollhouse. A lot of potential that was only realized during the last episode (which was very good for everyone who watched it). I think they should have kept both shows on as a package deal, and cancel both if they didn't improve this season.

Christ, wasn't this discussed enough back in the spring when things were announced?

Both Terminator and Dollhouse were getting fairly poor ratings. Fox wanted to can one. Fox makes dollhouse, so they stand to make more money from that show, so they cancelled Terminator.

I'm surprise earl got canceled. It was only 4 episodes away from 100 and would make for some decent syndication money.

TV is now filled with stupid crap. Like American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and other reality tv stuff. those two take up a combined 6 hours of tv time in a week. America or atleast those with the nielson boxes need to turn that crap off.
