Hi all,
I am coming from a AMD 64 X2 3800+ computer and it is showing its age. I am currently purchasing items for an i7 860 build. This will be used for heavy photoshop with some HD video editing in the future. I am tired of a full tower and wanted something smaller so I went SFF.
I already have:
CPU - Core i7 - 860 2.80GHz
Motherboard - Gigabyte P55M-UD2
PSU - Antec TruePower 550W
RAM - 2xG.Skill 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333
Case - Lian Li PC-V351
Optical - Sony Optiarc Black 24X DVD+R
HD - Intel X25-M 80GB
I want to add 2TB for storage and can't decide between the WD Caviar Green 1TB and the Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB or would a WD Caviar Black 1TB benefit me at all?
I also do occasional gaming and cant decide if I should go with a HD 5850 or HD 5770. The resolution would be 1920x1200.
My budget is around $500 and I wanted to purchase everything by mid November.
My last concern is that I am moving to Japan and am wondering if there would be a way for me to bring the completed build on a plane.
