Need to fast buy a new PC.
Used Mainly on ADOBE CS4 (Photoshop - After Effect - Premiere) Suite and AION Game
Budget around 1.000 EUR
I will use it at 1900*1200 Resolution.

This is my actual mind but i need some advice and confimation.

MB - ASUS P7P55D EVO
CPU - i7 860
HD - WD - Caviar Black
CASE - Xigmatek Midgard
PSU - 750W (needed?) Antec Truepower / Corsair HX
VIDEO - ATI HD 5870
RAM - G. Skill RipJaws 1600Mhz CL7 4x2Gb

Monitor DELL U2410 (Extrabudget)

Some question.
I'm buying this system on the 1156 Socket.
Will it be better to take i7 920 and build on the 1366 socket?

how much PSU power i will really need? Will 750W be too much?

What about a SSD not expansive card for OS?

Thank you very much.

You can spend wastefully, but you can't really buy "too much" PSU.
Since their components degrade over time, more "quality" power will serve you longer.
I specify "quality" power, because something like a 1000W power supply for $19.99 isn't designed with quality in mind.

For your primary needs, yes. The 1156 will not support hexacore, so you don't have an upgrade path...I'm pretty sure the Adobe products will enjoy another couple of cores.

You also may benefit by going with triple-channel instead of dual. Plus, with a six-slot board, you could go with 3x2 for now, then expand later to 12 gigs.

Personally, I'd wait a little longer on an SSD. If you can't, just be sure all of your Adobe apps are installed to it, don't bother moving the scratch disc to the Black, etc.

This is good advice. The x58 is more a professional platform than the P55. Although you can save money if you go P55.

The money you save between X58 and P55 is not that much and if the OP is looking to go hexcore in the future he needs to go the X58 route.

For example, picking X58 and P55 comparable parts, the difference between X58 and P55 in the UK (the rest of Europe will be similar) is £75 inc. VAT

GA-EX58-UD4 = £155

I7-920 = £215

Corsair 1600MHz 6GB XMS3 8-8-8-24 = £145

I7/X58 total = £515

GA-P55-UD4 = £120

I7-860 = £210

Corsair 1600MHz 4GB XMS3 8-8-8-24 = £110
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/173129

I7/P55 total = £440

Honestly in my life I almost never upgraded a PC.
It always come out that I change the entire PC so I more interested in actual benefit than in future ones.
Still thank you everyone for your suggestion.
Seem in europe 5870 is unfindable...
