2gb Corsair Low Latency PC3200 DDR ECC registered (4x512mb) 2 per 4dimm bank
OCZ Powerstream 600watt PSU

I have (2) Alphas 8150's with 120mm fans...It came with the bundle otherwise I may just get some XP-90s...

I will be selling my system below shortly.....keeping the OCZ PSU and 2 DVD drives....everything else goes...

I have a 6800GT gainward 2400/Ultra w/ ArticCooler....supposedly running 400/1100 stock....I haven't decided if I will keep my BFG 6800NU since I am not a big gamer....

Plus I have another 2gb Corsair ECC Registered memory in 4x512mb sticks I dont need...


If ppl want to dib some stuff let me know....Likely wont break apart for a few weeks....

I run some CAD apps that use all the horsepower you can give it...especially for rendering my animation....My goal is to drastically speed that up...

Also I love to run FH....power of 4 in 1 box....

I also wanted to play with a dualie system and test some other apps...I want to see how much ones can do...How many programs are multi core ready as oposed to just dual core ready....

Basically I am bored and needed something to play with for a bit before I get a Conroe or something....

If I can, but frankly I am not counting on it...Once I get the Iwill board I will see what I can do...generally The Iwill Intel boards allow some ocing...i will have to see....

I can promise you if it allows me even 10% you know I will take it...

I've got a bud who overclocks his Tyan dually using clockgen. The board doesn't offer FSB or vcore adjustments, but using stock vcore and clockgen to up the FSB he's able to get a nice 300-400mhz O/C.

Sounds like your going to have an awsome work horse. If you do serious work with cad design grab the quadro. Way faster.

Other then the more ram which I could keep the gt and get I am a quadro card now...Fully unlocked with all quadro functionality...

When I converted my vanilla 6800 with a modest 385/850 settings it beat evry specviewperf 8.1 score at specs webpage.....I run it now and turning it to a quadro is noticeable and evident that it is

I am going to put it in my current Chemming (antec server case knock-off) case...It has great case cooling and plenty of room for a E-ATX...

If it doesn't I will get something.....I may just want ther XP-90s anyways so I will buy a new case at SVC.com

Any note you can share on how to convert a 6800GT to a quadro? I'd be interested since I have a GT.

I wish I could spend that much money when I get bored Duvie!

I will be waiting for a dual core X2 or Conroe @4Ghz (Overclocked of course) or maybe a 3Ghz Quad core but either way I will have to start saving my pennies (or cents) to change to a completely new platform - Lets hope AMD have a response, soon, to the Conroe or we will moving to Intel in droves - I bet Intel will have test systems with all the major sites on the same week or before the AM2s are release which would be a big spoiler...

Every so often I go to Newegg and begin Wish-Listing the ingredients for such a rig. And about halfway through, I just come to my senses and realize I'll never be able to afford it

Let me tell you all a secret...I plan on selling my current system...selling many items I got in the sale (that were a screamin bargain) in the bundle and my calculations say the whole upgrade is going to cost me about $500-700...maybe less if the ram is the gem I think it is....


You ppl know I usually upgrade far more frequently then I have of late.....So therefore I have had plenty of tiem to build up funds for this type of thing...PLus I am gettnig a divorce and I no longer have to ask for premission.....

Oh that and my boss will pay for half of it....since I use it for work and she uses that kind of stuff like bonuses....I have made her plenty of money in the last few months going out of town....

For me divorce is cheaper then keeping the wife and her spending...I will have plenty of cash now!!!
