New to wireless and need help???

I just ordered a Dell Inspiron 5150 with Dell TrueMobile? 1300 WLAN (802.11b/g, 54Mbps) Mini-PCI card. Can somebody tell me what I need to get to network it with my Dell desktop? I have no clue about routers & switches etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

nope...that router should work just fine for you. Linksys routers come with a very good tutorial to help you set it up.

The Linksys WRT54G Router come with 4 ports switch. I beleive your Dell Desktop has bulid in network card. If so, just connect the desktop direct to the switch using cat5 cable.

If I was doing it I would get some education before I buy any thing.

The store will be there for a While. Linksys (or any other brand will not disappear in few days).
