Newegg = Fail. Their customer service down right SUCKS. UPS lost my package and they want me to wait something like 2 weeks for UPS to finish their investigation. It's not like I could be lying or something, the tracking # has a exception saying they can't find the package.
So instead of just sending me a replacement right away, they wanted me to wait for the claims process to finish. Ummm no, how about you send a replacement and have UPS send the original back if you find it? Oh you can't do that? OK, thanks I'll go to Amazon.
Oh and on topic, the new page layout sucks. Giant white bars on the side? WTF?

How do TWO seperate packages both go missing? Are you guys using invisible ink on your shipping labels? In 10 years of online shopping, I have had 0 missing packages out of probably a few hundred. Yet both newegg packages just literally disappear in transit? This is VERY VERY odd. The frustrating part is Newegg refuses to even look into it until this Friday even though it's obvious there is issues here.

Last Week Tonight mentioned the presence of companies on social media: It's like having a bunch of people gathered together for friendly/trolling discussion, but there are corporate reps wandering around trying to insert themselves into any of the various conversations....
Is it just me, or is it really annoying when companies do this? If they actually cared about customer service, they'd take care of it before you posted a complaint somewhere. I see posts like this as just an attempt at damage control and maybe an attempt to discredit the original poster.

I have not been able to beat the price at Amazon lately. Particularly now that they charge sales tax here. I have no brand loyalties though, and will jump on a great deal on any quality product. That may influence things a bit.its still world better then amazons.
I still buy from NE but I often use it to find what I want and then buy on amazon. much easier to find based on specs alone on newegg when looking for parts IMO
