Newegg worries. - Help ME!

Ordered my 4g4a+ wit a 1.6A on sunday last week @ 5:30 AM.

It is now sunday, 2:58 AM. They still are on step 1 of 5, I used a bankers check. That is about 7 days....it voids in 7 days it said!

What worries me if they dont get the check cashed on time and the order voids, and the 1.6a will sell out, forever......

When they say, this order will void in 7 days, does that include weekends?

My stumach is turning I hope everything goes right, does it usually take this long with checks? + I'm on the other side of the continent, New York.

Why not send a simple email to their sales department with your order number telling them that the check is on the way instead of wigging out about it?

you could buy a 1.6A in fs/ft . plenty there, for reasonable prices. i got mine for $105 (admittedly a very low price) and its purring along at 2.13 1.44 volts right now.


btw, sending money on bankers check to newegg on long holiday was not a good idea.

I ordered from newegg last tuesday 7/2/2002 before noon. It asked if I wanted to add $2.50 for next day shipping and I agreed. Scheduled delivery is 7/8/2002. Next day shipping my ass.

its not 2.50 for next day shipping, its 2.50 for same (next?) next processing.

actually someone got their hands on my bros card number once and he didnt really have a problem disputing it

Get an American Express, I put $2k-3k on mine every month.

It is a charge card NOT a credit card. You pay it in full each statement.

Plus, they have awesome online buyer protection.

You may not have the same protection in terms of a dispute regarding an authorized transaction but as long as its branded with a visa/MC logo you have the same fraud/unauthorized use protection as any credit card.
