Newly built computer, having beeping issues

I just built a new computer, and once I was done and pushed the power button, I got a long sharp continuous beep. I've tried re-seating the ram, alternating ram sticks, and tried re-seating my video card, and still getting the same beep. I am starting to worry maybe my parts are damage (I hope not).

Could anyone help me out on what may be the problem?

Oh, by the way, my specs are the following:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
MSI P6N SLI Platinum
2x1Gig DDR3 ram
e-GeForce 8800 GTS
620w PSU
Windows XP Home SP2

I'm also using Thermalright Extreme 120 for my heatsink instead of Intel's stock heatsink.

Are your ram sticks in the correct ram slots? My first build stymied me until I realized I had them in the wrong spot. Another thing to do is to troubleshoot the beeping. There should be (either in the manual or searching online) a description for what the beeping means to help you out.

Yes, I am pretty sure my ram sticks are in the correct slots. I'm starting to think it is my HDD not being plugged in properly. I only have connected the SATA cable, and the cable that connects to my PSU. Are there any other cable that needs to be connected to my HDD, because I think I recall connecting another cable to my HDD other than the SATA and the PSU cables from my previous built computer.

Power and data connections are all you need for a hdd. Do you have all the power connections to the mother board plugged in (24 pin and probably a 4 or 8 pin as well)?

Did you plug-in the power supply connector to your Video Card...?

If you did, try booting with only 1 RAM stick. If that doesn't work, try the other stick.

Good luck!

Yes, they are all plugged in.

I also looked up BIOS beep codes, and under the continuous beep, it said it means it is a memory error. I don't know if it really is, but I tried all possible ways of sticking the ram into the ram slots I have, and I still get the beep.

It was because I didn't plug in my video card to my PSU!

But now another problem arise. -_-

No more beeping when I turn on my computer, and nothing appears on my monitor. :/

I would also like to add that there are no lights glowing/blinking on my d-bracket.
