You looking for cheap oc'ers for your cafè? I have the Asus board v2.0 and it doesn't seem to overclock too well with dual channel. With 1 stick though! 210fsb with twinmos3200.

I have had my fill of Abit boards. I think Asus has more technical knowledge and experience. I think this is why Asus still uses more jumpers
on their boards than does Abit. Some things are critical that they are set correctly or even the BIOS will get hosed. FSB is usually a jumper on
Asus, but Abit has softBios setting. I think this adds to the reason you can turn an Abit into a vegatable more easily than an Asus.
I have an Abit BP6 vegatable right now, and my Abit NV7-133R took about 2-3 days of on/off switching to get it out of its vegatative state.

I am finished with Abit. Good boards. I consider them second only to Asus. Asus is more pricey but worth it. They are the only 2 brands I would consider
and Asus wins out for me now.

I think everyone will agree that BOTH are great boards by great companies. The question really is what do u plan to do with the boards. Abit beats out Asus hands down with overclocking options. I have a NF7-S rev 2.0 because of that specific reason. So if you want to overclock...get Abit...if not, get Asus..simple

If I may interupt this thread... can I ask what "overclocking options" the Abit board has that makes it so much better for overclocking?

I have the Asus 'lux board and it seems to have everything I need to overclock just fine... I'm just curious on what I'm missing out on.

I think Abit has much more for voltage adjustments & extra multipliers. But Asus is a very nice/stable board nonetheless.

i just ordered my NF7-S, i can only hope it's the new v2.0, but we'll see i'm pretty sure even if it's 1.2 it'll do great with overclock. =)

Got mine at 221... had it at 235 but couldn't find a good divider for the RAM, so it kept pooping out during the POST when it checked the RAM.

while i recommend DDR400 for the future and for overclocking purposes
