Personally, I never really thought Holik was that good even in his prime in NJ. It seemed like he was helped greatly by the system NJ played back then...

Yeah, it's a tough call, but those games have always been sort of unimportant. Having more games in your conference really makes things more interesting, and develops rivalries. What's up with Bert this year anyway, and isn't Naslund a FA?

Bert gets his meeting with Bettman sometime this week (probably get 10-20 more games). The funny thing is ......... if he gets 10 games........ the first team he will play is the Aves :Q

Naslund is a UFA I hope we can get him back but if he gets a chance to play with Foresburg......... man I don't blame him if he leaves. It would be cool if we could get those guys but I don't think we could afford it

I think cutting the travel time and more division games will be good as a whole though I agree that it sucks not to see some teams though. It'll be similar to MLB interleague play.
Apparently Naslund and Forsberg are looking to sign together somwhere. Whoever manages that coup becomes an instant contender!

With those big guys going to the Flyers, I can't wait to watch some more Philly/Toronto on tv... that series is always amazing. It sucks Detroit doesn't play Toronto this year tho.

And I'm glad Foote signed with Columbus... brings a little bit of a rivalry over to this division. Detroit hates Foote... it's just a fact.
