Nice Dragon themed case

Looking for a nice case, either with a quality PSU, or none at all. The only one i've found so far that's dragon themed is at xoxide. http://www.xoxide.com/xg-dragon-case-black.html

It's going to be a phenom quad core build most likely, or a Core 2 duo build, not sure yet. I want to put in an ATI3850 or larger so the case needs to have some room to it. Needs room for 2HD's as well.

Here is a list of mfrs that make some riced-out boxes: Apevia, Sunbeam, Raidmax, XClio, Xion, Thermaltake. Personally I'd buy a functionally excellent case with a good sized window and spray paint or etch the window using a dragon stencil (or have a good air brush artist do a dragon scene on it). Much better idea than getting a junker because it has "the look".

I saw several dragon decals and appliques on fleaBay that could be used for automotive or PC case windows.

This is true. And I'd love to get her the Cooler Master Limited Edition Dragon case. But that's 1,400$, and an airbrush artist would be close . But I have to get the whole computer in a 1,000$ budget.

btw its only $900 after tax and shipping there. so totally worth it though. i would buy 2 of those if i had the money (of different patterns of course)

I too would buy it. But for this build, that puts the case 750$ out of budget . I'm still considering an Antec 900 or Thermaltake Soprano. But I don't think I can beat the value of a Raidmax. I sure do love my Raidmax X1....models i'm looking at are the Apollos, Sagitta 2, Aztec, and Smilodon. Also looking at the Rosewill conqueror. All these cases I'm considering will have no PSU, i'll put in my own.

Pair it with a C2D most likely a wolfdale class, so a E7300 or higher.

Give it 2 gigs of ram minimum, i have no preference here.

All you need now is a psu, and hard drive, and video card.

The HD4850 is an awesome card right now, so u can grab 1, and later when your GF complains about it shuttering, you can xfire it with another and make her happy again.

^^ win win solution for girl gamers, thats how i made my best friend shut up when she bumped up monitors and was hissing at how badly it was lagging.

I just threw in another 9800GTX and she was all happy again.

Its a solid build i recomended.

The SG03 is by far the one of the more aesthetically pleasing case. Your gonna mirror something simular to my best friend's setup, only that board wasnt available when i went that route.

There are some good microATX boxes that are designed to handle long and/or double-wide cards. The SG03 is one of them. I wouldn't buy it in black for a female (unless she was a Goth - in which case she wouldn't be my GF anyway...). A silver one would be easier to decorate with dragon decals so they could be seen...
