C2D E6600, Radeon x1950Pro, no graphical glitches, no sound problems, no crashing, no performance issues.
It runs well on high settings. It's really awesome; definitely the most atmospheric game I've ever played, and the audio work is incredible.

The problem I see with Bioshock is if somebody is not connected to the net and buys a retail copy being this is a single player game ie......
It says the 'net is required on it right on the box .
Right, but it's the idea that you have to have internet access to play a single player game. I didn't have internet access when I lived at my parent's house, but I still had a kickass gaming comp and always bought games.

I downloaded an update from Steam which apparently installed some DirectX files...anyone know what the update does? I've looking around in the Steam forums but I found nothing.
If you're still able to play without problems after the Steam patch you're lucky. The thread at 2k indicates that several people are having screen corruption issues.
I can play pass the medical level but get this. Now I get BSODs, sometimes the game just freezes and I have to ctrl alt del out out of it, it closes out by itself in the middle of the game while I am playing. This sucks.

163.44
It really sucks
Question about the game. Where do I find the Telekinesis plasmid ? I can't seem to find it at all and not sure if I am to late because the guy who throws those fire balls isn't there anymore.

Saving them has its benefits
I won't say what benefits, too spoilerish. You know what they are though

Half-and-half so far. Once I saw the process of harvesting, and it wasn't so bad, I started chumming hard for the ADAM. I guess I expected that there would be this terrible video of my character beating a little girl to death. Thanks for sparing me that, 2k!
