No sound via Mozilla, fine otherwise....

A weird situation just popped up on my win 10 pc a few days ago. All of a sudden, when using firefox (default browser) the pc will not play any sounds. However, if using a different browser, playing music or any other application, sounds are fine as are system sounds. It is only firefox that has gone silent. I checked the 'mixer' for soundblaster, and it indicates that sounds for everything are on and not muted, but silence from anything on firefox.

Any suggestions on how to get firefox back playing sounds would be appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure you are checking the Windows sound mixer too. Did the Soundblaster mixer have a setting for FF sound? Make sure FF is open when checking both.

If that's not it, check your extensions.
