No Video Displayed but Audio Plays

I wanted to output a divx encoded file to my TV. So I first checked to make sure the files played fine on my PC. Worked great. So I installed the WDM drivers (TV drivers) for my nvidia geforce 4(VIVO). Hooked it up to the TV but when I was playing the files all I would get was a black screen. So I said screw it I'll just watch it on my monitor. I hook it back up to my monitor and now I get the same black screen. Sound plays fine but no video. I uninstalled the WDM drivers. I reinstalled my video drivers. I uninstalled my codec pack and reinstalled (k-lite codec pack). I now cannot see Divx, Xvid, or even see DVD video. All I get is sound. I even tried removing my monitor. I cant think of what the hell went wrong. Anyone know a remidy for this problem. Its frustrating the hell outta me.

Try re-installing the DivX codec and see if that helps.

I've done that, didnt work. Its a windows setting because no matter which video type I play including DVDs I get no video displayed.
