Sorry for being pretty ignorant on some stuff still, and thanks in advance for the help. I just built my first rig and it posted first try. I've loaded windows and the MB drivers, I thought the next step should be video drivers. My card is the BFG 6800GT. In the video card driver post above version 73.00 is the latest official release, is that what I should load..? Also, should I bypass loading the ones that came on the disc..?
I know this next question is probably in the wrong category but, could someone explain exactly how you go about seeing if a rig is stable, and I've heard about cpu burn in, is that something I need to do as well..? Nothing is overclocked. Anything else someone might think I need to know / do would be greatly appreciated, I'll post below what I've got. Again, thanks for any input, this is my first time and I know enough to know I'm in the dark
Oh, one more thing, my cpu temp is at 46 C, it's right at 90 F ambient in the house at the moment, does that sound ok..?
Abit Fatal1ty AN8
AMD 3000+ Venice
OCZ Plat rev 2 1GB
BFG 6800GT
NEC ND 3520
WD Raptor
Cooler Master 450W PS
Cooler Master Wavemaster case
