North bridge chipset and wifi questions

Looking at two Asus mobos.

P5W-DH Deluxe (975X, Wifi)
P5K Deluxe (P35, Wifi)

First, should I even bother with wifi? I like it on my laptop but have read mixed reviews about wifi stability on desktop mobos.

Next, if I'm using a Q6600 with 3gb DDR2 800, is there any point in getting a mobo with an FSB of 1333/1066 or higher or will 1066/800 suffice?
