Nortons utilities - for W2K ?

With my old W95 I found that Nortons Utilities wroked well and helped keep the system running smoothly. Does the current Nortons Utility work well with W2K ? Or does W2K undertake sufficient maintaince itself ?

I am haveing a lot of teething problems with W2K and would like to scrutinise the system, but i do not have the knowledge to go editing the registry. i need somthing automated. Any ideas appreciated !

Utility suites can still be useful not just for optimizations but for fixing. Microsoft's RegClean works but is not as good as third party stuff. I prefer Ontrack's Fix-It Utilities. I have not used the latest Symantec stuff because I have found it to be bloaty and mole-ish in the past.

I had a look at Ontrack's utilities site and it does seem to be a serious competitor to Nortons. It also seem to get good reviews in the PC magazines (for what that is worth). The user interface appears to be more user interactive than Nortons. Thanks for the tip !
