Not Hot: ANOTHER Payapl Scam?

Recieved this in my e-mail a few minutes ago

First, the fact that I haven't had anything up for sale in months confused me, then the fact that it looked nothing like any other e-mail I've recieved from paypal made me suspicious, then I check the "from" line, and instead of being from service@paypal.com as usual, it was from this guy, rick.stilt@mail.wcresa.k12.mi.us

I logged into my paypal account (NOT by clicking that link, through typing in the address myself), and of course, no $81 there. Looks like another scam to me.

Not a scam because they're not getting your info if it's truly paypal.com. Someone must be jerking you around.
Right-click on the link and copy shortcut to see if it's truly paypal.com.

Compare the first two words of your post with the title of this forum. You seem to be a bit lost.

The URL begins with https://www.paypal.com, so it's not a fraudulent website...looks like someone is messing around with you.

Well, whatever it is, the address suggests that he is from the Wayne County regional educational service agency.
I sure wouldn't pay much attention to it.
Now if the guy mails you a check ..... surely thank him.
