Yeah it's a short...but what was the point of it? A guy got sniped. Three guys went off to some wall somewhere and two of them got the ****** blown out of them. There was some explosion that killed their captain. And......? Where's it going? There's no substance. It's worthless.

It's not great, but it was:
a) visually appealing
b) emotionally engaging

STop being a film queer. I'm the resident pretentious 'tard of this board! It's not a good title to have.

I will say that it was well done but some of the SFX shorts weren't very transparent. I'm assuming, since it had Cyllian Murphy (a big name star in it) that the budget was on the large side - they should have had a cleaner look. Also, the writing was pretty cliched, the acting pretty silly (i just wanted him to scream "my legs! I can't feel my legs!"), and it was all like a cut scene from a video game. But it was shot pretty well and kept the audience's interest. But it didn't exist on it's own, it exists as a scene from a larger piece. I'm guessing the director was trying to show off his chops to get a feature made, but no one bought it because the piece lacked strong characters and, honestly, a plot. War is hell is not a plot, that's subtext (or it's supposed to be). Well shot though, good production design, and Cyllian Murphy's hot! I mean, I'm straight. Really, I am..

The cgi was neat until I saw the HD version..still some of the cut scenes of the walls were REALLY good.

If anything I thought it was part of a demo reel for a 3dfx artist

I don't get it it felt empty to me, has nice visuals, but weird acting, and where's the damn story?

it was cool to watch, but I can't say it really held my attention, and the ending if you can even call it that. Left me clueless as to what I just watched, I know you can't pack 2 hours of movie into a few minutes. Would be interesting to see this expanded on so we know what the hell is going on. But unless they added a whole lot of plot I don't see how this could possibly work as a full length flick.
