NTFS file system question

Is there any way to get rid of a NTFS partitian on a hard drive and format to say Fat32 ?

Have a older 7 gig drive not in use and want to put it in a system thats not going to run windows2k or NT or anything...

Or am I SOL ?

Do you wanna keep the data on that partition?

If not, you can just delete and partition using fdisk and create a new one, then format it to a FAT32 partition...

Install Partition Magic 7.0 and it will convert the unwanted NTFS partition to whatever you want . . . FAT or FAT 32. (If you want to keep the data, etc.)

jus to warn..

partition magic 7.0 is known to crashes on some XP systems...... hehe... then the results will be "u should know"....

best way... find another HDD.. copy the data.... format it.. then copy back again...

or if you can see the drive in windows just right click and format it fat32. if u still have win2k or xp installed u can go into "computer management" and go to the disk manager panel and format it from there.
