I have a 19 crt. I used to run my geforce 3 ti 200 at 1600x1200. Ever since I have used ati 1600x1200 wont fit on the screen. Fore example I will only see a portion of it and have to move my mouse near the edge for my desktop to scroll over. WHats up?

You might want to check the refresh rates as this will cause problems like that sometimes.

I had that same problem when going from an FX5200 to a 9600XT. Just manually tweak the monitor and it should be fine.

Sounds like virtual desktop to me. Try disabling TV-out and see if it doesn't help. If its still an issue, go to the overlay tab and uncheck "theater mode" and see if that doesn't help.

Do you have your monitor *inf file installed? Using Powerstrip, or another tweaker?

it doesn't think you can support that resolution, maybe it is because the refresh rate is too high

First, if you have TV on, turn it off until you get this fixed. Once it is normal you can turn it back on. Then make sure that your monitor settings are correct on the displays tab (you have to go to the details screen of your monitor). Then turn down the resolution to like, 1024x768, and then crank it back up to 1600x1200. That should fix your troubles. I just wish it didn't do that in the first place. It seems like it does it most often when you have tv out on and you install new drivers...
