Maybe I'm missing something, but the only thing super about these cards is more VRAM due to higher capacity modules, but they're still GDDR7. Perhaps they can push the power up and get clocks higher on core and/or memory, but that's a pretty limited gain. Maybe they'll cut prices like they did with the 4080 super, i.e. not much performance upgrade, but $200 off of the 4080's price.

Lower prices? Unlikely, but fixing low memory capacity might be enough, maybe even the drivers will be mature by that point...It's hard to imagine what a Super lineup even looks like for Blackwell.

Solid card @ (or near) MSRP.Oblivion remastered runs so badly because it constantly runs out of VRAM... So I gave in and bought near MSRP ASUS RTX 5070 Ti PRIME OC (should arrive tomorrow). Just can't wait any longer. At least it has somewhat acceptable TBP.

But Nvidia cheaped out and what we got was the super super 4xxx series. It was a huge execution error on Nvidia's part and a sad look for one of the worlds richest companies.
Jensen is worried for the poor gamers who don't want 5080 16GB but also don't have the cash for 5090. His compassionate move to give them what they want will stand the test of time and secure his legacy as the savior of PC gaming for generations to come. I can't believe they aren't using Jensen V1, V2 etc. for the GPU codenames. They must rebel against their benefactor's wishes to appear humble and plaster his name all over the README files in the drivers at least. It's CPU heavy but when it runs out of VRAM it's almost unplayable slideshow.It's pretty slow on 4090, it's the Unreal thing
