Starting to plan out my next build.
I want a great looking case that's quiet with good cooling, expandalbe, easy to work with, has convenience features, and support for great water cooling since I'll be OCing a 4790K. As a result, I've decided on the White NZXT H440.
I also want the Swiftech H240X for it's great cooling ability while being pretty quiet for a liquid cooler. I'm not at all concerned about expanding it in the future. I have limited experience with liquid cooling, only used a Corsair H75 in the past which I wasn't happy with.
What I'd like to do is mount the H240X in the top of the H440, but I'm concerned with:
1 - If I mount it toward the rear top of the case, the reservoir end of the H240X might interfere with components on the mobo (undecided yet - some kind of Z97 Asus).
2 - If I mount it toward the top front of the case, will the CPU Block be able to reach the CPU, since the tubing seems kind of short. I don't mind sacrificing the top 2 3.5" drive bays if needed since I'll only be using 2 SSDs & 1 2.5" hdd.
Any thoughts from owners of this combo???
