I love this quote...

I have to call BS on this comment. The X1800XT 256MB is readily available at Newegg.com (and has been for a month) for $289 and the 512MB version is about $40-$50 more.
Edit: 04/06/2006 - Updated with Crossfire vs. SLI numbers. Textures still flash with ATI however. I wish the X1800XT Crossfire cards were more reasonably priced if ATI can correct this issue quickly.
