OCR program for tables

Can anybody point me to a good program for taking a table and scanning it so it can be edited in Excel?

This is a one time thing for me so I prefer a shareware or freeware but if someone's had a really good experience it would be worth it for me to buy a full version.

There are a lot of lite or free versions around but in excel documents with tables and if they have small text the OCR doesn't come out very well. Omnipage pro is probably your best bet for accuracy. I've used a lite version of Readiris and the excel files were unreadable. Shareware or freeware is fine for straight text documents, but I've found tables require something more powerful.
