I'm getting 2x1GB OCZ Platinum EL PC2-6400 for my new AM2-based computer... I just noticed that NewEgg posted an instant rebate that brings the "rev. 2" version of this RAM within $50 or so. The difference between the two sticks appears to be that revision 2 supports a better CAS latency.
The origional has a CAS latency of 4-5-4-15 while the rev. 2 has 4-4-4-15. How much real-world difference will this make? Is it worth the $50-$60?
