I am looking for which is the best for a gaming PC. I only need a comparison, not suggestions on which RAM might be better than these two.

Well, the RAM you linked can't really be compared because one is DDR2 while the other is DDR3.

You can't do a straight comparison because one is DDR2 and one is DDR3. Between the two, buy the one that your motherboard supports. If your motherboard is socket 939 (possibility due to the CPU listed in your .SIG) then it supports neither.

Hmm, I should have selected different OCZ. My roommate bought OCZ Reaper DDR2, but I cannot find it on Newegg. He bought four 1GB sticks from... somewhere (he doesn't like telling me things) and I cannot find the ones he bought.

So, DDR2 OCZ Reaper of the same PC2 speed and similar timings, which would be better?

Any RAM with the same speed and specs will give the same performance.

Almost all 4gig DDR2 kits above DDR2-800 with be powerchip IC's, so they alll do roughly the same speeds at the same voltages. Some are binned a bit better, and those get the higher speed ratings.

What CPU are you going to get/use, and are you going to OC? That makes a big difference in what to recommend.

I don't know much about Mushkin support, but OCZ is excellent when it comes to backing up their products. That is always a good comparison.

Mushkin has great support as well from everything I've heard. I would take that Mushkin kit over any OCZ Reaper.
