I was debating if this might belong more in software for windows or not but here goes.
System specs:
Phenom II 955 BE (stock clocks/volts)
2x 4GB DDR3 1600 (stock timing/clocks/volts)
Asus m4a79T deluxe (realtek 8112 gig-e lan)
Ceton InfiniTV 4
1GB 4850
All drivers/software are up to date and this is running on a fresh install of W7. The cablecard tuner is designed to be seen as a network device to the system. When it is configured, it creates a network bridge between my onboard ethernet and the the tuner. For the most part, everything works fine with some odd exceptions. If I open Chrome or Skype, my network connectivity cuts off instantly but can be restored by closing the program and dis/re-enabling the ethernet device. I've searched high and low and really can't find anyone else having this issue. I've tried disabling the IP helper service and disabling IPV6 on all the network settings but I can still repeat issue every time.
