Doing a Google search pulls up about 13 billion hits. I was wondering if the fine people here at Anandtech can help me find a viable data backup solution for my company.
We have a handful of requirements;
1) Multi-platform - Linux, Windows
2) Has a client software that you can setup in order to upload data to the secure server
3) Is resonably priced
4) Ideally offers a resale program where we can offer their services to our clients
5*) Not essential but it would be nice if it supports encryption prior to uploading
I had a look at Amazon S3 services which really looks like the perfect solution - the only problem is no software front-end is offered and we don't currently have the resources to develop our own application to connect to S3. I couldn't really find anything out there on the net that can work with S3 and comply with the requirements we need.
I'd appreciate any help. This is starting to get to be a desperate situation. Statistically its only a matter of time before we loose all our data!
