I'm gonna be honest, I try not to be too biased, but at this point I have an extreme dislike for, among others, ARod and Sheffield (and, to an extent Jeter). ARod, he just always looks like he's in a terrible mood, Sheffield because he supposedly called the Red Sox pussies (or something close), and Jeter because everybody likes him so much. I didn't like seeing him walking around the dugout like an idiot, waving his hands indicating that ARod was safe (and I wouldn't like this type of thing on either side, the way Jeter was doing it made him look way too cocky). This coupled with the fact that everyone thinks he's so great in the clutch when this year he has been terrible, and on his career his numbers in the playoffs are AFAIK worse than his numbers in the regular season, he's just been there so many teams because he's on the Yankees.

/pointless rant

Jeter is a career .315 hitter and has a postseason batting average of .307.
He's clutch.

I hope you're being sarcastic...

And I hope you are. Jeter is one of the most clutch postseason hitters in the game.
His numbers are actually worse in the post-season than during the regular season. I don't care how many clutch hits he's had or whatever, he's played terrible this series. And people always bring up the fact that he has the most hits, etc., in post-season history, a stat that is extremelely skewed... ARod, for instance, could be called a 'clutch postseason hitter,' IMO.

EDIT-Didn't see it had been argued to death
Forget it.

Numbers doesn't = clutch. Jeter is 5 for 26 in this series, but has 4 RBI and 5 runs scored on those 5 hits. He is clutch.

Though we root for the different teams on opposite sides of the biggest rivalry in sports, we can all agree the anticipation is huge, can't wait to see the outcome

Interesting comment that Lowe might actually be better with shorter rest since he's a sinkerball pitcher.
