If they bring in Pedro, I will be really pissed. Firstly, you need him for game 1 of World Series. Second, why do you take out a pitcher that has been unhittable. Third, the curse will continue, every time the Sox have a chance to do something special they make a horrific managerial move. DO NOT PUT PEDRO IN, they need to save his arm for the World Series, especially with Shilling hurting bad. St Louis and the Astros can hit, they are going to need their starting rotation at full speed to have any chance at winning the World Series. Or even worse the Yanks can mount a comeback, the fans will be all over Pedro if he takes the mound in the 7th.

Francona does not have what it takes to lead them to the championship. His move to remove Lowe was pathetic, I can not believe the stupidity of bringing in Pedro and the crowd back in to the game.

Managers in baseball oftentimes win by sticking with their instinct. McKeon did it last year by putting Beckett in on three days rest and letting him finish the game. Time after time managers that stick to what got them to their position win, while those that overthink, and make moves to swing momentum to the other side are destined to lose.
