All the playoff spots have been clinched and now its time to look forward to the playoffs!!

Should be an awesome playoffs this year. I believe whoever will win the west will be too tired and will be shutdown by the celtics who will roll through the east. Most likely Celtics v Lakers with Celtics in 6.

Playoff MVP: K.G.

Vote and lets see how accurate ATOT is in predicting the winner!

EDIT: All non-contendors have been eliminated and new poll is posted with the remaining contendors. VOTE!!!!!

EDIT x2: New Poll for the NBA Finals 2008. I called the lakers v celtics way back when

GOOO LAKERS!!!!!!

I sincerely hope the Lakers at least make it out of the first two rounds. I feel they are more than capable of pulling it off.

I'm sure they will be. Kobe is really an awesome player, way better than LBJ. He's getting close to an MJ level and if they win this year, he'll be darn close.

Spurs overall, Duncan and Manu pulling co-MVP honors.

CP3 should win MVP this season, but doubtful ...

No possible way the Spurs win this year, they aren't healthy enough.

Celtics vs. Lakers or Suns, with the Celtics taking it.

Lakers have been looking good lately. Some big wins and great defense. I think they are likely to win. I'm not sure the Celtics are mentally tough, but I haven't followed their games closely enough to really say for sure.

Of course you would say that

I agree with you though

Edit: REALLY hard to see lakers losing a series to anyone, especially with Bynum back.

Who isn't healthy? Only player is Horry. Brent came back on Monday against the Kings, and Manu is just resting until Saturday or Sunday. Spurs vs. Pistons final, book it.

Bynum's not coming back. This year at least.

Lakers fans have been lied to about Bynum since his injury. He was supposed to be back in 8 weeks.

What was that, 13 weeks ago? And he STILL isn't healthy. The soonest he would be back would be the 2nd round, and I dont think Phil would just throw Bynum back into a gelling lineup like that.

Mark my words, bynum wont be back for the playoffs this year. And if he is, he will play less than 10 minutes per game

Spurs FTW, but I am a little frightened about facing the Suns in the first round if that's the way it plays out.

Suns are going to get some sweet, sweet revenge this year.

Gotta back my Cavs. If everyone else can just man up and do their job Lebron has enough around him to make a good run at a title.

This is gonna be a tough call. I want Boston to win it cuz of KG. I want Denver to win it cuz of AI. I want Houston to win it cuz of Rafer and McGrady. I want New Orleans to win it cuz of Chris Paul.

Fuckit, Lakers are going to win it somehow.

Just because they're playing or will be playing soon doesn't make them 'healthy' per se... They aren't in top shape, and don't have their individual or team rhythm, and are still probably 'fragile.' If I were a betting man (which I am), no way would I bet everything would come together for them to play for a championship. I don't even expect them to play in the western conference finals.

I can't see the Lakers lasting, and I see Ray Allen going down with an injury. Therefore, my picks are the Suns vs Pistons in the final, and unfortunately, I think Detroit will win.

Man, I'm going to try my best to watch all of the western conference games. All the likely match-ups are very interesting and can make for some potentially awesome basketball.
The western conference playoffs this year has all the ingredients to be legendary; especially with all the subplots and what not...

Eastern is interesting too. I think Detroit definitely has the edge in the east due to their intestinal fortitude and experience. I'm still not sold with the Celtics yet to play at a playoff level.

The Cavs have all the players necessary to make a good run as well, but I doubt they will meld together quick enough to get past the 2nd round...

oh and GOO LAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
