I hope the New Orleans beats the Spurs so that the Mavs failure this postseason won't look as bad. It's not going to happen, though. :/

kick to the face? unnecessary since bowen gets away with more than enough grabs, holds, slaps, tugs, etc. to be a good defender as a 36 year old in the NBA. perhaps paul will force bowen to resort to his karate skills though.

Bowen can't do anything with Paul. The question imo is what can West do against the spurs.

I'm glad Phoenix was ousted. Did anyone listen to Amare's me-first speech after they were eliminated? Attitudes like that won't win you playoff games. Go Spurs!

tough juice caron butler keeping the series interesting.. bringing the series home!

"From the visitors' locker room came a chant, impromptu, rumbling beneath the Quicken Loans Arena stands, growing louder with each refrain. 'TOUGH JUICE! TOUGH JUICE! TOUGH JUICE!' Caron Butler's teammates kept bounding up and down without him, chanting the nickname bestowed upon the Wizards' all-star three years ago by his coach, Eddie Jordan, who had grown tired of coaching soft players who couldn't finish games. When Butler was finished with his TNT interview on Wednesday night he ran down an almost-empty corridor. After the most implausible victory of this Wizards era, he flexed his pectorals and screamed: 'D.C., STAND UP!! D.C., STAND UP!!'"

Pistons off to a good start today. 30-12 at the end of the 1st quarter.

... and they're victorious!

Orlando is the next prey.

Yeah, but Orlando will be a much tougher opponent. Pistons are the better team, but only when they want to be.

The pistons are one of the most unprofessional outfits out there. They are so cocky, playing "only when they want to" when in actuality they only won 1 championships in the last 7 years despite their supposed great team. Look at the spurs, they keep winning championships but they aren't cocky. I don't see what the pistons see in themselves, they don't even come near the greats, ala Bulls 96-98, lakers and celtics of old,etc

That's what cost them last year - for years they've basically been the best in the East, but they don't play like it in the playoffs. Personally, I hope the Magic take the series - no one on the Pistons will be able to defend DHoward.

Right, because the Pistons couldn't contain him and eliminate the Magic in 4 games last postseason...

Now, sure Orlando definitely has a chance and I hope the Pistons take them seriously, because if they're careless like against the 76ers, they could be down 2-1 or worse and not be able to catch up. Pistons have the potential to beat any team out there with their all-star cast. That said, I would not be surprised if this series goes to 7 games.

What are you talking about ? Why are the Pistons coky? what makes you say that ? I don't think they're cocky at all ... they only when they want...pfff like they choose to lose thse 2 games to the sixers. The sixers aren't a bad team they straight up beat the Pistons those two games (One was very close, and the other @ Philly).
If they were cocky they wouldn't of gone out and played their last 2 games of the regular season.
Just sometimes they're off and don't play well ... cocky

Difference between last year and this year is Rashard Lewis who will also need to be guarded well, or he'll go off on you. Magic have a legitimate big 3, and if they added an awesome point guard, could be #2 in the East.

ahaha i like the spurs cus of duncan but bowen really is a dirty player. he just gets away with so much. he knows how to hide it most of the time which is his skill.

I knew exactly what he was referring to. I was just stating that Bowen only has to bust out his karate in rare situations (i.e. defending wally sczerbiak).
