We heard you the first time.

Everyone here is saying the Giants have no chance... I wonder how many of those people were also saying the Giants would be out after the first week of the playoffs? Of course they're a long shot, but things happen...

Clearly your reading comprehension skills need some work, because while they expressed similar views, I said different things between my first and second posts.

Whoever says the Giants don't have a chance has not been watching football the last month. The Giants lost to NE by 3 points in a game they could've won. They have been playing great football the last few weeks and beat the two top seeds in the NFC in their houses. Are the Patriots a better team? of course they are. But the Giants can certainly take them down.

The Patriots have looked very beatable lately - they played close against the Eagles, Ravens, Chargers, and yes...the Giants, over the past two months. As we've all seen, despite being "back down to Earth", they've just kept on winning regardless.

Of course anything could happen, the Giants have already proven they can play with the Patriots - we'll see.

OMFG, I can't believe I fell asleep waking up to the GIANTS going to the Superbowl against PATS... Damn jet lag...

In a very weird cosmic unhinging way, that Seiko commercial is kinda... funny.

I think it's great that Pats fans and probably most of the pundits will pick the Pats over the Giants without question. It happened three weeks in a row so far, and for three weeks, the Giants have proven them wrong.

Another road game, another win. Go Giants!

IMO the first half of the game will be great. Giants will come out swinging and might even get out to an early lead. The second half of the game however, will not be entertaining. Brady will buckle down and run the offense and Eli will collapse and throw a pic or 2. Pats by 10.

I work in Jersey City.

Honestly no one on 660 or 1050 gave the GMen a chance to win tonight. They probably won't give them a chance in the SB.

I don't think I can remember in my 30 plus yrs of football memories watching a team that played so together through adversity.

With all the injuries and negative stuff they are getting I think its pretty impressive.

Man, I hate New York, I was hoping for the pack to beat the patriots, but now I think I'd rather have the Patriots win. The Giants have a good power running game going, which could give the pats fits.

It's like pats fans don't even remember that game.

I remember that game well. The Pats should be favorites in this one, but if Eli plays the way he's been playing, it will be anyone's game. If Eli turns on retard mode then it's all over.

actually, he won't attend because he thinks he jinxes eli. The two games he went to in the regular season caused eli to get crushed. Hence, he skipped the pack game.

wow, the greatest road team vs the almost-greatest team.

They might have looked beatable, but here's why I like the Patriots in two weeks:
Warm climate, neutral site, veteran QB, and other SB veterans. I don't see guys like Harrison, Bruschi and Brady letting an opportunity like this slip past them.

As I said above, though, this will be a really good game. The Giants are a quality team and anybody that thinks the Pats are going to blow them out only need to go back and watch week 17.

Bucs, Cowboys, Packers, and soon to be Patriots

That's a real road to the championship.
No like the Yankees they will be Boston's Bitch.

Farve definately isn't in the same class as Brady even if he has all those records.

I strongly disagree, give Farve $50mil worth of recievers and O-line and watch his stats fly.

Going to the NFC championship with the 2nd youngest team in the NFL is an accomplishment to say the least.

Copied & pasted straight out of the NY/GB thread:

I'm picking the Giants in the biggest NFL upset since the '69 Jets.

Giants - 30
Patriots - 27

Pats have shown that they are ready to adapt their offsense and defense strategy as needed. And the changes success in winning the games. The word choke does not exist in their vocabulary.

However, given the Pats track records in the playoffs and the last half of the year, they will win but not attempt/succeed in a blowout.

I don't know if I've ever written a more difficult sentence.

I couldn't bear to see that sniveling bitch Eli Manning hold the Lombardi trophy.
It's gotta suck to be a Cowgirls fan. And even suckier to have your own sniveling bitch Terrell Owens, weeping like Hillary Clinton on TV.
Tony Romo? Hehe.

Oh lets be serious. Eli is the biggest whiner in the NFL. He refused to play for the team that drafted him! That's pathetic.

And no, it doesn't suck to be a Cowboys fan (note - its really clever to say "cowgirl", did you come up with that one all by yourself?). The team has won plenty.

Had you even hit puberty the last time the 'Boys won a playoff game?

I'm still trying to figure out what planet I'm living on that the Eli Manning led/Tom Coughlin coached Giants are in the Super Bowl.. I mean, have I fallen into the Bizzaro world or something?

The worst thing about this is that now the 50% of commercials on TV that don't happen to have Peyton Manning in them will now have Eli. There will be a Manning channel added to basic cable lineups that will feature hit shows like "Archie Has an Opinion on Everyhing" and "Where's Cooper?"

that 14.5 line seems about right.

That's sounds better than a Brett Favre/Tom Brady Love In.

Bitterness becomes you.

PS: there is no bigger whiner in football than Hillary Owens. He's forced a trade from two previous employers because he wasn't the center of attention.

I think it's both hilarious and saddening how sports hooligans take one insignificant issue out of context and use it as their single attack against another team. Asterisks, botched snaps, noise boosting, girlfriends, irreverent crowds, vacations, trash talking athletes, crying: they all mean nothing, yet it's the only thing hooligans can cling to, like dingleberry clings to anal hair.
You know too much about anal hair for my comfort level.
