Welcome to the internet. What the heck are those tattoos on Kaepernickle?
He'll be leaving with Greg Roman. Or following Norv Turner if he gets a job.I wonder what the 49ers plan to do with Alex Smith

Just another running QB like Vince Young.
As a Packers fan, the 49ers were impressive and deserved the win. As a Packers fan, I could have both called AND played a better game on D than what was put forth tonight. No QB spy? Man to man coverage? It really boggles my mind how unprepared the Packers were for this game on D.

Pats fans are thankful for another SB trip and no Giants in sight!
Do people honestly believe the Ravens are more then a long shot in this game? Or are people just hating on Manning?
Seriously?
It so, I laugh at those of you who think I am simply biased and know nothing about football.
Prior to the regular season game at Baltimore I said it might be a good game, a close game. It wasn't.
The Broncos haven't lost since October 7th, every week getting better and better. Anyone who has seen the tape or watched the games will attest to this. The entire culture at practices is apparent, the club is calm and relaxed. Treating this week's game just as any other in their 11 game winning streak.
The Broncos are the only team in the league with a top 5 offense and a top 5 defense. They're defense is ranked #2. The Ravens have an overall ranked defense of 17, 20th against the run.
Perhaps if this game was in Baltimore again, it would be closer. It's not. Mile high fans will be pumped. Flacco is an inconsistent QB at best, much better at home then on the road. All of the stats will testify to this.
People think Ray Lewis and Dernard Pollard are going to make the difference of the massive 34-17 beatdown that was 31-3 before 2 garbage time TD's to Dennis Pitta that our zone defense allowed in the final 7 mins of the 4th QTR. They will not make that difference. Their offensive line healing up will help them quite a bit more as Flacco had no time against Denver's pass rush in the last meeting. Marshal Yanda being back at guard will be the biggest boost for the Ravens when considering all the players missing in the previous matchup.
This game will not be close. The Broncos are going to obliterate the Ravens. If any of you have misgiving's of the opposite happening, I can promise you your football knowledge is infinitely inferior to mine, regardless of my bias.
No, were happy that a trip to Denver (if we beat the Texans) won't happen. I'm still digesting this game, it seemed Baltimore got a good read on what short routes PM was trying to use and as the game progressed they got better at slowing it down. We all knew Flacco's arm strength but how in the hell a safety got caught in that position is unbelievable, NE will struggle against a hot QB (if we beat the Texans). I don't know if any team can stop Kap., his decision to run comes instantaneously, no one on the league has and answer for this, (yet anyway)...
i think one peron in paticular for the defense, champ bailey. they challenged him and beat himI think the big story of the Baltimore-Denver game was the complete and total collapse of the Denver defense. Scoring 35 points (well, 28) against the Ravens defense should win you the game.

And throwing an interception, in overtime, in your own territory will lose the game.
icf: or if payton wouldn't have thrown that pic at the end!
Peyton (note the spelling) shouldn't have thrown it. The complete and total collapse of the Denver defense was a bigger factor in this game, however. Blaming one guy for a bad play when your "#2 ranked defense" gave the game away by playing like #2 is a little unfair. Especially against the Ravens, who have never been known as an offensive powerhouse.
Besides the ints, Peyton started to mostly dink and dunk in the 2nd half and OT. That cost the Broncos the game.
