However, the Pats look to be much improved next year. They have a large number of young players in their first or second year who have already played well and should improve.
On the other hand Brady will be 36 and the Pats desperately need at least one deep threat and probably a replacement for Welker. Oh, and they need to resign Talib and/or add one other top DB. With those additions the Pats can go back to the run first, ball control, good defense that won Super Bowls.

Happy I bet the money line on the Ravens (that win seemed inevitable to me; 9 points was absolutely absurd), but very disappointed we have to listen to two more damn weeks of that jackass Ray Lewis and all of his nonsense. I hope the Ravens get utterly devastated by the 49ers, like scorched Earth devastated. Would love to see my man Gore go nuts on them!

I'm the other way. I want 49ers to lose because I hate QB self aggrandizing and Kaepernick's little arm flex bicep kiss is just as bad as Cam Newton's superman thing. And because Jim Harbaugh acted like an absolute child when a review didn't go his way on Sunday. Also because I'm a Falcons fan and had we not made constant mistakes in the second half then the 49ers would never have even made it a close game.
I would be pissed, too, because that was so obviously a wrong call. especially considering the ref had the benefit of the video, which just about anyone could see was a dropped ball.

You see, it's actually fine in the NFL if a call touches the ground so long as the ground does not assist in the catch. Now if you watch the catch you'll see that he never loses possession of the ball and his hand is underneath it the entire time. The only time the ball touches the ground is after his hand was solidly underneath the ball with clear possession. That, if the rules of the NFL are followed, would be called a catch every time.
