This is very similar to the French debate someone posted about...not as much direct conversation but very back and forth - beyond the talking points. Bob Schieffer is doing a great job. If he was the moderator in the VP debate, Palin could've been FUBARd

I have to defend McCain here. His reaction was the same as mine. For Obama to say that there have not been prosecutions for the deaths of Union leaders in Colombia is a flat-out lie. In fact, what Colombia has done with paramilitaries (the guys who take out the Union leaders) was only possible because of US Aid under Plan Colombia. Obama showed an astounding amount of ignorance on that issue.

Do we care about Colombia (except about their coffee)?

We have to be nice to Columbia, at least until they agree to take Arcadio back.
