We ran hard mode last night and finished it. Got a 320 sniper which i will be putting into the black spindle.
I am not sure what is going on tonight yet. It's my son's birthday and i think we are going to be out for awhile. Will play it by ear.
What is your light level now? My titan is 316 and lock is 308 so I'm about ready to start doing hm on the warlock.
Guess I need to make a hunter. Already have a few exotics for him like the bones of aeo? and a helm and gloves.
I am only a 303. I never get drops outside of Fragments. when I beat Orx last time I got two primaries. No armor. First run I got the shell and artifact. Still waiting on a 310 helm and a heavy.

I actually went and re did it in regular mode last night. When it came up as the heroic story the other day I remembered it was about the only thing I had to skip during leveling. As I suspected, that point where they rush me at end of the third wave must be programmed as after dealing with that, it got rather easy to finish.
Not sure i'll be playing much more till the weekend, will add a couple names then to see who is also on. Just got my level into the 250's.
I took a break from Destiny for some months so I haven't tried the raid yet. Now that I bought a new TV (Sony XBR55X850C) I might try and find a group on LFG or here to give it a go. I've got a Warlock with 291 light.
With PVP it's interesting for me as someone who doesn't have people to regularly play with PVP is the only way to get decent gear but you can easily get wrecked without the right gear because even though they "try" to keep it even if you have better gear you'll still not do great.Iron Banner and PVP
I suck at PVP. There, I said it. I can't aim with a controller to save my life and frequently have issues tracking people in the air. My son has asked me to pvp sometimes with him and I do, but I'm not good at it and its an excercise in frustration.
And then I got the Arminius-D with a near god roll and the game changed.
Holy shitballs, pvp is fun again. This autorifle MELTS the enemy before they can get more than one shot off. My KD ratio for several games jumped up from .2 to 2.2 or higher and I actually was first place in many of the matches I play in over the weekend and last night.
I was bored last night so I started up iron banner and went from 0 to rank 5 in about 6 hours. Would have been much less, but the last win I needed to level up to rank 5 only happened after 6 consecutive losses in a row, many of which were decided by only a couple hundred points. ARRGH.
At any rate, PVP, at least iron banner, had been fun. Can't wait to do some more pvp and see what happens. I even got several sniper headshots in which is something I rarely ever do.

you can 2 man the challenge of elders BTW, it will prob take you 3 runs to get the 90k points for that quest
to maximize points you want to precision kill the adds, team shooting them so someone gets an assist also helps, once you get the 30k points part done you get a wep from varriks and at 90k you get an armor piece
I got a 327 heavy and 327 boots, also got a 325 and 326 ghost while running it
