I wouldn't mind joining a good clan to find good groups for raids and PvP now that I'm raiding 3x a week plus 2x oracle/templar on hard.
No its not, those people are already in the game playing so it's much easier to already join up. In other MMO games you can actually talk to each other, sell stuff, trade stuff, ask for help doing things, everyone pretty much agrees that this games needs easier and better communication.
Why they didn't enable any type of communication in the so social area, The Tower, I'll never understand.

Must be because you're 30, I'm 27 and hardly ever get random invites. I'm not in the tower too much, I leave to farm Vanguard Marks for Legendary weapons.As soon as I got to the tower today I got 7 invites from people I don't know. Three of them actually told me what they wanted. One wanted to do nightfall, one wanted to do raid hard mode atheon checkpoint, and one wanted to do raid normal from the start. I didn't really have time for any of it. I guess people see lv30 and want them to help.

got a legendary engram just doing the daily bounty's off a lvl 8 thrall turned into Steel Oracle Z-11 which is a Void rocket launcher, which I needed as I only had 1 rocket launcher and its Arc
Cryptarch level up gave me a legendary which just turned into energy and I got the "Thunder Devil" shader which is actually pretty good
You're right, but we don't have those options in this "MMO" unfortunately, so it is what it is. We all know this already, as it's been repeated it here many times. Other than complaining to Bungie, or boycotting their game, all we can do is make the best of it, and spamming random invites will get you nowhere fast.
Look us up, I know there's a group or two doing VoG on hard regularly. I did overestimate our membership earlier lol, we have 100+ followers but only around 60 people who set it as their XB1 clan. Also, no matter who you join, the Destiny app message feature allows everyone to be in a group chat. Same functionality as destinylfg basically.

Disagree 100%. Just because someone got RNG luck doesn't mean everyone should suffer having junk weapons. Raid got tons easier when people got ice breaker and suros. When people have good weapons and armor to level up it helps the whole team.I hope they don't sell it again, its the best Rocket Launcher and I'm glad to have one. I would hate for everyone to be running around with it only for them to nerf it like they did the Suros.
The idea of Xur is dumb in my opinion, its not hard to get coins and allowing everyone to just buy exotics is completely opposite of everything else in this game in terms of effort required. Also, he only sells about 2 items per class so everyone with that class just buys the same things and they're no longer unique.

Also I saw that weapon and I am not impressed with the stats and if it is anything like the stranger's rifle that takes up half your field of view, I want nothing to do with it.

I read it but saw nothing, even in your quoted part that says "destiny is the game that will help you". This is how the story has been portrayed all day on the forums I visit. That the doctor specifically recommended the game. If that is not the case then fine.
