Got a Doctor Nope out of a blue engram right as I turned lvl 20. How is Doctor Nope compared to other purple weapons? Took a while to get used to its fast fire as I've been using pulse rifles.

Damn this game, I didn't get my first purple weapon until I was 27.

Shadow price is better if you want an easy to get AR. The vanguard quartermaster sells em. I am not a fan of high ROF, low impact ARs though. If you do crucible there are good options from the different factions like grim citizen and vanquisher.

I hated the Dr. Nope at first because its stability is low. I've started to get to like it more, especially in close combat because it dumps so much ammo into dudes. I can easily burst it too by feathering the trigger, which helps. I'll probably try to get a purple pulse rifle when I get more vanguard marks, but its nice to have a decent weapon right off the bat.

Don't overlook scout rifles. They hit like trucks and if you can get pretty good at precision shots, you can one or two shot a lot of enemies.

I've never used them. I need to try them out. I always like semi-auto rifles in other games

Looked up the expansion, seems light on content especially for the price.

Scout Rifles are my second favorite type of gun and yes, with how little content was in the main game, we should not expect any expansions to have any significant content. With how much it sold they have no incentive to bring in much more content.

You work for Bungie now I see.

Nobody knows what they will do later on.
It's the truth, if the main game itself lacks content and we already know what the expansion has, why anybody would all of a sudden expect them to throw more content at us just doesn't make sense. It's obviously how they intended the game to be, to grind the same extremely small amount of content over and over.

Oh well, that's RNG for you. At least my next hunter character would have it...

I started a second character too. Only takes a little bit of time to do the daily story, bounties, and such on my main so I'm trying a Titan. Blowing through it a lot faster the second time. Scout rifle is awesome.

Yep, have a full suit of legendary warlock armor, and arms/chest for hunter. That'll be useful if and when I create those guys lol.

Being able to carry more bounties and Public Events being more frequent is great for me since that's what I spend most of my time on.

Wow they're really going in with the changes yet no mention of VOG glitches lol. I'm guessing the Aksor patch is blocking us from going under the platform...if they haven't changed the entrance this mission is still decent however if they keep removing all the safer zones less people are going to bother with weekly heroic and nightfall.

I'm happy for the extra bounty slots for most of last week I had two spots filled with exotic bounties on my titan and 1 on my hunter. I think the biggest change they needed to make with cinematic was making them skip-able if you have done the mission before on any character.

Lol no more hiding under the platform on arkon priest? When that mission comes back as nightfall I am gonna need a new way to solo if that is the cass6. Maybe play hide and seek around the corner at the entrance.

Yep, sounds like that'll be it. Just have to watch out for those stealth Vandals while scoped

datto has a vid up of him soloing it and (depending on burn) it takes 12 shots from a fully upgraded sniper and half a clip from a HMG to just nuke him before the adds even spawn

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCmDuKicNbg

he does get the benefit of Weapons of Light but im pretty sure I could do this as well
