330 light on exotics is still a rumor, they show up that way in the armory for whatever reason, have for a bit now

There was a discussion on another forum about hard mode and people debating whether it's too soon or not and there were two sides. One side says they want more time to get some better gear and finish a few things up since there are a ton of quests and fragments to hunt down still etc. The other side says they are at 310 or very close and have almost every exotic available and nothing to really do.

I just finally got to 307 last night and can agree with both sides of that debate. I would like to finish out a few things I still need to do and get a couple more light levels on boots and ghost for example. Though I was stuck at 306 for so long the only real way to boost up is to get a 310 or higher and that's just a bit too rare from normal.

Anyone know if there is a site with a listing of the average light level across the player base? Curious as to what percentage of players are at 300 or higher. Think it's 75% yet?

id wager under 50% TBH

im at 308 on 1 toon and 303 on the other

they do share weps

So that probably means doing runs on normal quite a bit until more players are above 300. Definitely won't see as many lfg for hard.

Isn't it about impossible to get to 300 or over without doing the raid? I can't offhand think of anything that has dropped for me above say maybe 296-298. I'm kind of stuck at around 292 and have been for awhile now.

Got the IB pulse rifle over the weekend, damn! I actually ended up buying it and then ironically a couple matches later it dropped for me (guess I'm in the 1%), but the one I bought had more agreeable stats (stability versus reload speed). It's just so incredibly stable! I'm having to rethink how I use it as I typically played pulse rifles by aiming mid-body and letting it drift up. Problem is this thing hardly if at all drifts upward, so now I've got to aim all the time at the head and it just puts 3 in there almost without trying.

IB may have sucked for most, but it actually dropped enough 290+ blue items to infuse and raise my light level about 4 points! I was kind of surprised at how much I enjoyed it as before I'd played about 2 matches of crucible and gave up.

Not impossible but it would require infusing a some blues that can drop at 300 and then exotics once you do hit 300 and they can drop at 310. It definitely would take a ton longer anyway.

I've never done the raid and was able to hit 300 after getting the 310 exotic sword and equipping all my 300/298 and a few 295 gear. After hitting 300 I decrypted a few exotics for 310 so now I can start infusing my legendaries up above 300.

Nightfall is fixed. better chance at strike specific drops, exotics, legendaries and three of coins. I did it 3 times and the cloak dropped twice. I got one

Notable raid changes

Recommended Light is 310
King's Fall Hard Mode has the following changes:
King's Fall Hard Mode rewards will drop up to 320 Light
Oryx in Hard Mode will guarantee a Raid item drop each week, without requiring Moldering Shards
Oryx in Normal mode will still require Moldering Shards
Moldering Shards can drop in King's Fall Hard Mode, but only if a character hasn't cleared King's Fall Normal for the week

Haven't played in a while and mostly play solo unfortunately. I'm sitting at level 37 I think but mainly play other games for now. Need to get back to this, fun game.

So did anyone get no time to explain yesterday? It was a reward from a quest linked to the paradox daily story. Collect three ghosts and get a special one to turn in to future war cult then join fwc for a quest. Supposed to be a good pvp weapon. Full auto pulse rifle with medium impact for a pulse and every precision hit refunds ammo to the magazine for free(not from reserves).

Did the ghost part. To get the rest, you had to finish the ghost part before the Paradox daily showed up again. I think Anubis said that the rest will be available after next weekly reset for everyone who did the ghosts already. The gun sounds sick

I did the part needed in Paradox mission, but it appears from this point on I've to wait until Paradox is a daily again. It worked for those that had already done the 3 ghosts before.

I got the gun yesterday, its pretty sweet and has a high fire rate. Pretty much a black hammer primary especially on specific bosses. It isn't at the level that my hopscotch was for pvp for definitely a beast in pve.

NTTE and Nirwen's Mercy is awesome for PvP.
They are very similar in stats (NTTE has higher range + Full Auto vs NM has better stability and 3rd eye)

I heard the opposite. It's a 2 burst kill in pvp but in pve a good scout rifle beats it consistently.

Loving my Treads upon Stars, where it sits at 310. Dismantled Hung Jury, vaulted my Tlaloc and never looking back.

Tlaloc is awesome with super up. It shots faster than multi tool, has laser beam stability, reloads faster than any other scout rifle, and aims near instantly. With a no super build you have almost constant grenades and wicked dps. I had a 310 treads upon stars and the stability wasn't high enough IMO so I put it in Tlaloc. You do have to form a build around tlaloc to get the most out of it because it relies on your super being up (alchemist raiment helps) but after using it a bit I fine every other scout rifle too slow. I end up trying to shoot hung jury in raid as fast and have to get used to the delay.
