This is my opinion on the class, i've watched a few streams and most high DPS DH's kill everything in their path before they even see the mobs.

DH = DAMAGE. Learn to kite, move, dodge, before you take any damage. Resistances and vitality shouldn't matter imo.

its so frustrating to see so many people with so much gold and drops... and im so fucking broke and with HALF A MILLION...

Flexy, what are the stats on those things that you sell cheap? (below 1m) cause i cant sell shit...and i have some stuff like a couple not-good legendaries, or 900 dps 1handed and 2 handed weapon.

i have a 1handed crossbow with 800dps with 400 LoH and some other stats, i think im selling that at 300k and is not selling and in my eyes its a PRETTY GOOD lvl 60 starting item

I RUSHED A DH in 20hs to be able to farm items to sell and be able to progress... i burnt all my money (2mill lol) in items for her. 1 mill in a 1250 dps blue crossbow and some other stuff.
Without SS and without MF stuff im at 40k dps, it goes up to 65k with ss, im able to do Act1 easily (butcher kills me a couple times always -.- that wide open attack he makes has like 90% of chance of killing me if i dont dodge it), im able to do act2, dying from time to time depending on elite combination. but i have noooooo chance in act3...

as a DH should i focus on some res and hp? or its just RAW damage? how important is to get hatred and discipline items? i can kite and kill pretty well but sometimes i run out of discipline and im dead almost instantly because i cant run away

help?

reflect damage elites are completely uber impossibru for me... i get 3-shotted by myself... illusionist, fast and mortar are pretty hard too. What i hate about mortar is that i shot from so far away that i never see the balls going out from the mobs, and they appear in screen when they are falling to me (SPECIALLY if im shotting from below the enemies)

anyway, anyone with a DH willing to help me with some theory about what to prioritize in each gear piece?

and the question i have been asking myself all the time... 2 handed + quiver, 1 handed + quiver or 2 1handed weapons?

you sell it for 200k but you know there is a possibility that if it is good you can sell it for...50mill

I've seen that in action... Turret with shield + shield + grenades + high LOH. The guy did great tanking, but still died as often, if not more often, than me. Once that DH stops hitting things, she dies. Meanwhile, I'm hauling ass all the way home.

Thinking of buying super high dex + crit chance gear on the cheap and trying that in Inferno Act 1. My 32k dps DH does fine with 400 resists and 35k hp, but insta kills are just so so satisfying...

And commodity trading is a bust from what I've read on other forums. Exqusite Essences are completely overpriced at $.25 minimum each when they got for 1-2k gold. Heard the arguement that that would effectively equate to 4-8k gold per $ real money, which is retarded.

I think you post all the lvl 63 items (on trade board in battle.net somewhere) you have and then people will speak up or send friend requests with a note. You add them, trade them, and profit.

I get the items, go to the trade channel from the ingame chat (it's called 'Trade', I believe) then post the items to the chat by shift clicking. I don't even set an asking price, I just post the item and say 'offers?' and get like 10PMs immediately. I tell the person who wins, they invite me, we go in game, trade, I leave. Literally takes 30 seconds.

i cant remember my stats but they are something like this:

hp: 20k
damage: 40k (65k)
attack speed: 1,4 i think
crit chance: 25% (i know its low, but increasing this stat is super expensive :S)
crit damage: 180%
resis: 100 aprox

Its pretty dumb to focus on defensive stuff too much as a DH. If you read some of the elite DH guides, many just build to make almost unlimited smoke screens. I rely heavily on smoke screen as well for defense. I did build vitality on most of my items so I dont just get 1 shot but, you shouldnt be focusing on resists and other stuff too much. I suppose having resists could be helpful but theres no way youre going to be able to get vit, resists and damage at the same time unless you plan on buying very expensive items.

Its not that they are overpriced per se, its that blizzard made the minimum price 25 cents for everything. By doing that they destroyed some of the commodities potential in RMAH. Nobody is going to buy a tomb of secrets for $.25 cents each when they can be had for 1-2k gold.

its nothing, but i thought i should show that... that i only do damage... im able to take a few hits from normal enemies in act1... in act2 some enemies can insta kill with 1 shot..in act3 the fallen ones (meaning the lowest enemy of them all) install kill me...

but thats they way its supposed to be right?

The middle-high end market is flooded with gear because so many people can farm act 3 now. Hell if you can't do that you can do speed runs through act 1 and get nearly as many 62-63s.

Gear like that 800 something dps 1H xbow with 400 loh is nice, you could likely complete the game with it. But everyone is dropping them so they are worth less. There is a big gap between good gear and excellent gear in terms of price.

In general that's a good thing for the game, people just starting can afford gear that might let them finish the game.

On another note, got bored of this game and started hardcore yesterday. I think I am like lvl 20 now on my monk. Anyone wanna team up whos in HC? Farming HC is best way to make SC gold anyways.

Not even unlimited, but you know as much smokescreen as possible. I even use preparation, and still run out sometimes.

A full set of Natalyas gear can get you close. There was a glitch that allowed unlimited, but I think they fixed it.

My lvl 60 barb is stuck in Act II, but farming Act I to gear up. Haven't found a drop I can sell for more than 400k, though...

I have a full time job and a family and consult on the side. I play maybe 2 hours a night and maybe 6 hours over the weekend. I am sitting on 120m gold with my gear worth another 120m.

It is a combination of luck (from id items) and skill (not dying) and class style (kiting wizard).

And I don't sell any mats, I just craft 6 prop stuff, mostly just junk but occasionally get stuff worth 5m+ which more than make up for the cost.

But a lot of my gear I got early on when prices weren't so inflated.

Agreed. I sold one legendary item for 1.7 million and was ecstatic. Another for 800k and now I have 2 other similar legendary items that won't sell.

I'm going to try the trade chat thing I guess.

I just beat Skeleton King on Inferno with my monk. I don't really play that much anymore, but I do hop on a little to check AH and maybe grab a 5 stack.

Hardcore is the only way to go, since SC is flooded with items since there's no item sink. And honestly, even if you die in HC, just leveling another character is more fun that continually farming Inferno in SC

Whats the best character for Hard Core?

I have tried all classes accept Witch Doctor. I like Monk the best but I started as a Monk and finished the game with one before even trying another class. Demon Hunter is OK and I started a character and I'm at level 24 with that. I also started a Wizard and didn't love it and also a Barbarian that I don't really like at all - played both of those classes to level 10.
