The price per 100000 gold changes based on supply on the AH, unless you manually set the price to something.

I didnt say I had an auction going and people bid on it, I set it to the same price buyitnow.

doesnt matter as the minimum price is $2.5/mil. taking 15% for paypal and bnet fees, thats $18.06 for the sale after fees. dunno how you would get less, unless you didnt actually sell 10 mil - which is possible.

No.... I sold 10 mil. I can take a screenshot if you want to see. Sold 10 mil twice at exactly the same buyitnow price, and received two different payments.

you should bring it up with blizzard, it may be a bug of some sort. you should not be getting less than $18 for 10 mil gold, after fees. maybe check your paypal account to see if they charged you some additional fees?

I already checked paypal, looks exactly the same to me. You actually dont get hit with the fee in paypal, you get hit with it before it transfers over. When you look in paypal, it shows "fee $0.00".

I sold something almost as good for 20 bucks. Speaking of polished if D3 didn't have RMAH then I be feeling jaded like everybody else. But since it does its basically a free game. You can complain i guess, but I can't. Its fucking free!

I don't understand why Auctions last for 36 hours, that's a long arse time. 24 hours seems like a good standard. Also I think you should be able to cancel your own auctions at any time if no one has bid on them yet.

Going to try and make a monk and see where that takes me. Hopefully won't hit a wall in Act 3 like I did with my DH and WD. Speaking of witch doctors, they need some big benefits in the next patch.

Did you report him? Can do it by right clicking on anyone's battle tag I believe. Even though the AH charges at %15 fee I will always choose it over the chance of getting scammed through a user to user window trade. Those things are almost never 100% safe.

I think drops must have been gimped last night.

I did a skeleton king run, as well as some fields of misery and then jumped to A2. I must have killed about 12-14 elite packs and the skeleton king and got only 5 rares in all of those drops.

I got on level 63 item that was crap, and most of the rest were 55-57.

Yes, I was in inferno.

this scam has been known for weeks.

and yes it seems drop rates have been nerfed again.

my drops were fine last night, i usually do the kazra barricade all the way thru to butcher and end up with 20-25 rares, i got the usual crap of 52-54's but also had a few 60-63's

something sounds odd, if you killed 12 packs you should have gotten 14 or so rares.
every once in awhile i'll get 1 rare after having a 5 stack but for the most part i end up with 2 per kill.

there's a bug where if you put a stack of items in the trade window then remove a portion of that stack, the other player will still see the stack with the original amount. People are using this to scam... be fortunate it's only 800g. Others have been scammed for tens of millions.

Don't buy anything that can be stacked if you want to be safe.

Really? I just learned a tank WD build that works well, and was farming act 3 last night. It was horrible. Nothing good, even ran into a bunch of below 60 junk. I was thinking act 1 mf is way better, but maybe they did just gimp all drops.. dang. Gonna retire for sure if that's the case.

Honestly I'd rather do Act 1 gold and mf runs because it's faster, tighter packed, and I can burn through the mobs very quickly using a damage only Archon skill set.

Most of the items I get to sell on the AH are 62s, and they are decent. I got a 63 hammer with 900 dps and 900 loh that went for 13 mil on the AH at the time from Act 1, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.

If I get to the point where my dps is high enough (maybe +60k dps) I will go to Act 2 regularly. Speed is more important to me on runs.

If speed is the prime factor then an Archon build seems slow. A WW build using wormhole and MS gear will get you to each pack much faster. Of course this only applies to act1 or act2 depending on your gear.

Give a shot and see how you like it.

Generally, I just tele 4 times with wormhole then toss down a WW in a group. Your CD will be reset in a couple of seconds and repeat. You can also teleport through certain obstacles as well as to different elevations if you weren't aware.

whats the proper way to CM ?
i usually cast diamond skin, explosive blast, teleport to the mob, freeze them and start casting twisters

is that correct? recasting diamond skin and frost everytime available, teleporting out if i need

my gear sucks as i've been using all my $ building up my barb.

like every other build i'm guessing i need CC and CD up as high as possible

I have troubles following why Archon is supposed "slow" - by the way i am using an archon build which makes use of WW/CM.. i cant think of ANY THING faster than blowing up #### with archon? The WW/CM serves the purpose to keep CDs of archon at a minimum.

If i were depend solely on my WW as "main attack" (not using Archon), to be honest it would take me A LOT longer to down Elite packs..so i am puzzled by your claim archon is slow.

I see WW more as an utility spell, its used to proc crits, does decent damage, resets all my CDs...and there is no way in hell WW can kill stuff faster than archon. (By the way, why not use Archon + WW/CM?)

The other big disadvantage with WW is that elite packs are usually not standing still - honestly, i cant even imagine using WW as "main spell" to down elites...it must be awful!
